Built for Life

Custom furniture and living spaces

Generations of Exceptional
Craftsmanship

My Grandfather was a furniture maker. I feel honored to continue in his footsteps, practicing the art of traditional woodworking.  Over the years, I have learned the importance of creating pieces that last the test of time, and designing spaces that are harmonious and livable across generations. I bring this pride and sense of purpose to all of my projects

Testimonials

I am impressed with your professionalism, and the quality of your products. Elegant, understated furniture is so hard to find, and I hope to do more business with you soon.

“Patience: Mike can take the wood, study how to form it with tools into more than it really is.

Design: Mike also sees several outcomes at the end during a task like window moldings, stairway trim and bookcase building.

Very good skills: Current tools well cared for, safety concerns for himself and others on a job, measure twice/cut once rule, explains something to his boss or me (the new home customer) quietly and abides by what ever answer he gets.

Social skills: Mike is well traveled speaking several languages, has interesting views of life which come out softly in conversations, engenders confidence in him knowing materials, structure issues, and finishes for wood products.

This recommendation is based on nearly weekly contact for 8 months during construction of a seasonal home in NC working for our contractor MBC Inc.; and our providing pictures of a three piece conner-bookcase made by a craftsman in Kennebunk, ME. The outcome, an agreement with Michael on his estimate, a couple of product development pictures, and wonderful results for the pieces..
